The terms on which we accept and fulfil orders placed through this site.
This site is operated by Jessi & Samba Publication, with its counter at Samba Stationers, 3 Vijayalakshmi Theatre Road, Moovendhar Nagar, Viswanathapuram, Madurai – 625014, Tamil Nadu. "We" and "us" refer to that business; "you" refers to the person or institution placing an order.
Placing an order through this site raises an indent — an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we confirm the order after checking stock and pricing. We may decline or partly fulfil an order where stock has been sold, a price is misstated, or a title is on reprint.
Stock quantities shown are read live from our inventory but can change between your visit and your checkout. Prices are in Indian Rupees and include applicable tax unless stated otherwise. Bulk and dealer pricing is quoted separately and overrides listed prices for those orders.
No payment is collected on this site. Invoices are settled by UPI, bank transfer, cheque, demand draft or cash at the counter, or on agreed credit terms for approved institutional accounts. Goods remain our property until payment is received in full.
Delivery timelines are estimates given in good faith and are not guaranteed against transport delays outside our control. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery to you or to your nominated transporter. See the shipping page for the full terms.
Damaged, defective, wrongly supplied or short-supplied goods are replaced under the returns policy. Used, marked or labelled books cannot be returned.
Titles are supplied in the current print run for the stated syllabus. Cover artwork shown on this site is representative. Syllabus changes made by an examining board after purchase do not entitle a return.
You may not scrape, copy or republish the catalogue, prices or stock data, or use this site to place fraudulent or speculative orders. We may suspend access where we reasonably suspect misuse.
Titles published under our imprint, their content and this site's design remain our property or that of our licensors. Nothing here transfers any right to reproduce or reprint them.
Our liability in respect of any order is limited to the value of that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of teaching time arising from delayed delivery.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Madurai, Tamil Nadu have jurisdiction over any dispute.
We may update these terms; the version in force is the one published here on the date your order is confirmed.
