What we collect when you order, why we hold it, and what we never do with it.
To confirm and fulfil your order, to raise the invoice and delivery challan, to contact you about that order, and to meet our tax and accounting obligations. Enquiry details are used to answer the enquiry.
Only what is necessary to get your books to you: the transporter carrying your consignment sees the delivery address and contact number, and our accountants and tax authorities see invoice records. Our staff see order details in the internal ERP.
This site sets a session cookie so your cart survives from page to page, and a security token cookie that protects forms against cross-site request forgery. Both are necessary for the site to work. We do not run advertising trackers.
Order and invoice records are kept for as long as tax and company law requires. Enquiries that do not become orders are kept only as long as they are useful in answering you.

Order data sits in our own inventory system with access limited to staff who need it. No system is perfect, but we do not hold payment credentials, so there is nothing of that kind to lose.
